Kashmir is the northernmost geographical region of the Indo-Pak subcontinent. Shangrila Resort Shangrila Lake is located in Kachura village in Skardu city at a height of 2,500 metres (8,200 ft). The lake is also known as Shangrila lake after a resort built on its bank in 1983. The shangrila Resort is one of the most beautiful resort in Baltistan (The northern most division of Pakistan). It is consider as one of the best tourist destination of Baltistan.
